Daniel Jackson to join MoMA Cafes as Executive Chef
 
Union Square Hospitality Group is pleased to announce that Daniel Jackson has been appointed to the position of Executive Chef at the MoMA Cafes. Daniel will succeed Chef Lynn Bound, who announced in June that she would be leaving the cafes at the end of September to pursue other ventures.
 
A Chapel Hill, North Carolina native, Dan comes to the MoMA Cafes from Union Square Events where, as Executive Sous Chef, he has overseen a kitchen staff of over 25 people and has been involved in all kinds of projects, ranging from intimate gatherings to seated dinners for 4,000 people. Prior to that, he held a chef position in Aspen, Colorado and cooked at Eleven Madison Park, where he worked his way through every station in the kitchen at a time when the restaurant received four stars from the New York Times, one Michelin star, and was ranked among San Pellegrino’s Top 50 restaurants in the world.
 
Jackson will take his post at the restaurant in September.
