Union Square Hospitality Group joined "Let's Raise the Glass", a national campaign to support the California winemaking community affected by October's devastating wildfires.
We raised a total of $48,491 by donating $2 for every glass of California wine sold in our restaurants through in November and December 2017 to the Sonoma Resilience Fund and Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund via The Tipping Point. "Let's Raise the Glass" was inspired by Charleston Grill Sommelier Rick Rubel and General Manager Mickey Bakst, and brought together a coalition of restaurateurs and chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Sean Brock, and Suzanne Goin, along with OpenTable and WPP.
We’re grateful to our guests and community for coming together to support California during this difficult time. The winemaking community in California has been an incredible partner to USHG over the years, and we're glad to be able to help our friends and colleagues get back on their feet.
