Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer of Union Square Hospitality Group, Ashley Campbell oversees all finance and accounting operations across USHG’s family of businesses. Ashley also serves on USHG's Executive Committee.
A native of Seattle, Washington, Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a clear focus on helping restaurant business owners with all accounting, tax and finance needs. Her career began at the Seattle accounting firm, Clothier & Head, working almost exclusively on their restaurant portfolio. There, Ashley was able to partner closely with restaurant owners, and learn the positive financial effect of a strong business partner to the industry.
Following her passion for restaurants, Ashley moved to New York and joined Union Square Hospitality Group in 2006 where she has worked at several USHG businesses including Shake Shack, Eleven Madison Park, Tabla, and Blue Smoke, ultimately becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2014. During her tenure at USHG, Ashley has led diligence on several transactions, financing negotiations, and a tax reorganization during Shake Shack’s IPO, while opening new restaurants and continuing to partner with each business. In 2016, Ashley was named a “40 Under 40” honoree by Crain’s New York Business, and was specifically recognized for her leadership in the Hospitality Included initiative.
